clinical trial. Your right to use the Medable App is granted to you by the Medable Customer who has
directed Medable to develop the Medable App in connection with a given clinical trial.

As a technology solution provider, Medable provides its customers with applications and platform
solutions enabling our Customers to interact with their patients and study participants more effectively.
In such instances, Medable acts as a data processor working on behalf of the customer. Because each
trial or study is different, our Customers who will collect and use information gathered through the
Medable solutions will provide a privacy statement specific to their use of personal data for that

What Information Does Medable Collect Through the Medable App?
The information collected through the Medable App varies by clinical trial. The Medable App is
customized by Medable for the Medable Customer in connection with a specific clinical trial. As part of
your enrollment in a clinical trial using the Medable App, you will receive information from the clinical
trial Sponsor, site, or investigator about the information that will be collected through the Medable App
as part of the specific clinical trial.
How Long Does Medable Store Information Collected Through the Medable App?
Medable collects and stores data collected through the Medable App on behalf of the Medable
Customer. By default, most clinical trial’s rely on Good Clinical Practices and Medable’s standard
operating procedures provide for information collected to be stored for 25 years. Medable stores
information collected through the Medable App at the direction of the Medable Customer – for specific
information related to your information, please contact your study sponsor or investigator for more
details on how long Medable has been directed to store your information.
How Can You Request Deletion, Modification, or a Copy of Information Collected Through The
Medable App?
Medable is generally not authorized by its Customers to directly modify, delete, or copy information
collected through the Medable App, and does so only at the direction of the Medable Customer. To
request deletion, modification, or a copy of your information collected through the Medable App, please
contact your study sponsor, site, or investigator.
Who Does Medable Share Information Collected Through the Medable App With?
Medable makes information collected through the Medable App available to the Medable Customer who
has engaged Medable to provide the use of the Medable App in connection with a given clinical trial.
Medable may make such information available to third parties if directed by the Medable Customer. For
more information about who your information will be shared with, please contact your study sponsor,
site, or investigator.
How Does Medable Secure Information Collected Through the Medable App?
Medable secures information collected through the Medable App with industry standard encryption,
both in transit and at rest.
