Scientific innovation is accelerating, but clinical development must keep pace. Clinical monitoring sits on the frontline of trial execution and remains one of its most resource-intensive functions, with site monitoring typically cited as accounting for up to 30% of trial costs.

Agentic AI creates an opportunity to rethink the model. Agents can work continuously across clinical systems to connect fragmented information, surface risk, prioritize action, and reduce manual work, while keeping human expertise at the center.

This 60-minute session will provide a practical roadmap for transforming clinical monitoring with agentic AI: where to start, which workflows to prioritize, how roles and processes evolve, and what it takes to build a more continuous, intelligent model of clinical oversight.

Learning Objectives:

  • Identify high-value workflows for agentic clinical monitoring.
  • Understand how agents and monitors work together in a new oversight model.
  • Build a roadmap to transform and scale agentic monitoring across studies and portfolios.
